8.4 My USB appears corrupted or unreadable.

If macOS reports that the USB is unreadable, corrupted, or needs to be initialized:

  1. Stop using the device.
  2. Do not select Initialize, Erase, or Reformat.
  3. Do not copy new files onto the device.
  4. Take a screenshot of the message.
  5. Contact support@usb.club immediately.

Please include:

  • Your USB Club device type
  • Your Mac model
  • Your macOS version
  • The exact message shown
  • A screenshot of the message
  • What happened immediately before the issue appeared
  • Whether the device contains files you need to preserve

Continuing to use or reformat the device may make troubleshooting or file recovery more difficult.
